Whistler Blackcomb — Opening Day

We don’t like waiting in line. We were in luck.

When Charles approached us in order to produce the opening campaign for the number one mountain in the world, we didn’t hesitate for a split second. This year, Whistler Backcomb associated themselves with The North Face in order to celebrate the arrival of winter and at the same time the opening day of it’s twin summits. For the occasion, they have recreated an expedition base camp at the foot of the mountain. It was an ideal place for nature lovers who wanted to enjoy an enormous bonfire accompanied by music and marshmallows. The winners of the contest even had the chance to stay the night and thereby be the first to ride the slopes the next morning. Three feet of fresh powdery snow waiting for them…
